எம்பெருமானின் சகாயம் 

                       

                           பிரம்மா யாகம் செய்ய முற்பட்ட போது தனது மனைவியான சரஸ்வதியை அழைத்துவர பணித்தார். ஆனால் அவள் வராது போகவே சாவித்ரியை அழைத்து இந்த அஸ்வமேத யாகத்தை ஆரம்பித்தார். இதனால் கோபமுற்ற சரஸ்வதி இந்த யாகத்தையும் யாக வேதிகையையும் அழிக்க பெருவெள்ளமாக வந்து சேர்ந்தாள் இதனால் இவளுக்கு வேகவதி என்ற பெயர் ஏற்பட்டது இவளுடைய கோபத்தையும் வேகத்தையும் கண்ட ப்ரம்ம தேவன் எம்பெருமானிடம் பிரார்த்தனை செய்தார். எம்பெருமானும் இந்த பிரம்மாவின் வேண்டுகோளை ஏற்று சொன்ன வண்ணம் செய்த பெருமாளாக இந்த யாகசாலைக்கும் பெருகிவரும் வெள்ளத்திற்கும் நடுவே தனது படுக்கையான ஆதிசேஷனை கொண்டு ஒரு அரண் அமைத்து அதன்மேல் சயனித்துக்கொண்டார். 

         

                          இதனால் பெருவெள்ளம் தடுக்கப்பட்டது. இந்த வ்ருத்தாந்தத்தை ஸ்வாமி தேசிகன் தனது வேகா சேது 

ஸ்தோத்திரத்தில் பரக்க பேசுகிறார். இதனால் சரஸ்வதியின் கோபம் தணிந்து பிரம்மதேவன் செய்யும் இந்த அஸ்வமேத வேள்வியில் தானும் சேர்ந்து கொண்டாள். யாகம் தொடர்ந்து நடைபெற்று வந்தது.

SRI RAGHAVARYA MAHA DESIKAN VIDVATH SADAS

SRI VAISHNAVA BHAGAVADA SAMMAELAN

               650 years ago, Sri Srinivasa Perumal Sannithi was established by Sri Raghavarya Maha Desikan at Villiampakkam Village, Kancheepuram District. Every year in the month of June Brahmahotsavam (10 days festival) is celebrated grandly in the temple. 

               This year during Brahmahotsavam a Veda Vidvat Sadas was conducted in the name of Sri Raghavarya Maha Desikan from 13/06/2019 to 19/06/2019. 

               In all these 7 days 6 Veda Pandits chanted Yajur Veda everyday. 

               In the Veda Sadas on 16/06/19 nearly 50 Veda Ganapatees took part and chanted Rig, Yajur and Saama Veda. 

              In this sadas, Vedanta Vidwat Sadas was also held. This program of vidvat sadas was conducted successfully with the blessings of Lord Sri Srinivasa and Guru Sri Raghavacharya Maha Desikan. Many Pandits from various parts of South India participated in this vidvat sadas. Many people supported this vidvat sadas by donating as much as they could.
